Winter Reds Weekend 2019

The Adelaide Hills will play host to the annual Winter Reds weekend on 26-28 July 2019, where guests will be welcomed at more than 30 cellar doors and associated venues offering an array of sumptuous wine and food events.



Events range from exclusive ticketed lunches, dinners and wine tastings for followers of fine food and wine, to relaxed venues offering rustic food, alluring wine, live entertainment and warming fires.

Many venues are also family friendly.

Ticketed events sell out quickly and need to be booked in advance.

Admission to general events is free, and food, wine and other beverages can be purchased separately.

The official souvenir wine glass is available for $10 at all general events and is your 'passport' to purchase wine wherever you go.

Entertainment, food, facilities, costs and accessibility all vary depending on venue.

Uraidla & Summertown Country Show

The Uraidla & Summertown Show - Sunday, 3 November 2019

Enjoy a family day out for everyone with all the attractions of an old-fashioned country show just up the hill from the Adelaide CBD.

Experience a taste of country life with agricultural displays, fresh fruit and veggies available from local farmers, log chopping competitions and a traditional Devonshire Tea.



The Show will offer visitors a huge variety; catering for all tastes, featuring an action packed line-up of entertainment, family activities, rides, market stalls, exhibits, competitions, delicious food options and some of the best wine from Adelaide Hills region, there will be something for every member of the family!

Bands and local musicians will provide entertainment throughout the day, while more unique events including an old fashioned Tiersman Challenge will keep punters entertained throughout the day.

Incorporating the Uraidla Sustainability Fair, showcasing sustainable lifestyle options and a wide array of industry expert’s presentations.

Visitors can relax in the shade by the food and wine tents, experiencing the best local wines whist listening to music from talented local artists.

St Nicholas Comes to Hahndorf 2019

This year the annual ‘St Nicholas comes to Hahndorf’ event will again begin at the historic St Paul’s Lutheran Church, where children will gather and participate in a craft activity that’s sure to be fun for them all.

Parents will be entertained by musical entertainment and a free sausage sizzle.

The tradition of St Nicholas reminds us all about the spirit of giving, and the ‘St Nicholas Boot’ will again be rolled down the street and available to collect any public donation to the event's selected charity.

The whole community is invited to come and join in with the fun on Friday 6th December at 6.00pm at St Paul’s Church Hall, and to see the procession leave St Paul’s car-park at 7.00pm.



The Parade will be led by the Hahndorf Town Band and of course feature ‘St Nicholas’, and conclude at Alec Johnstone Park where children will again learn of the legend of St. Nicholas’s gift giving and his help to the needy!

After everyone has joined in with the traditional Christmas singing, the children will receive a gingerbread gift from St Nicholas, and the adults can enjoy tea, coffee and cake, with entertainment from the Hahndorf Town Band.

All British Day 2020
Date Sun 9th Feb 2020
All British Day 2020 will be held on Sunday 9th February.
A multi-club, picnic day in the Adelaide Hills with hundreds of British vehicles from 1900 to the present day, including cars, motorbikes, commercials, farming and stationery engines plus displays and entertainment for all ages.

In 2020 we celebrate the Armstrong -Siddeley marque - more info later.

Held in the beautiful Adelaide Hills at Echunga Oval, after a drive into the Hills, our Trade stands and local food bring a fete atmosphere to Echunga.
We encourage youngsters to attend and will have things for them to do - we will advise these when confirmed.
Visitors have free parking and car display will be ready for public entry from 10.30am to 3pm.

The proceeds go to charities and good causes, so come along and support this event.
Entrants can apply via the website when entries open in early October - Visitors can just turn up on the day.

Hymns & Classics 2020

A concert of classic masterpieces performed by Hahndorf Town Band conducted by Philip Paine, and classic support vocalists.
Enjoy the featured community hymn singing together with the backing of a full brass band in the historic St Paul's Lutheran Church at Hahndorf.
