Join the 17th Annual Glenrowan Wine Region Winemakers' Weekend and savour the Australian flavour.
The weekend will be full of activity, at a slow pace, for lovers of deep and complex wines and wholesome food. The dinner on Saturday evening hosted by five regional wineries is called 'Slow Food from the Producer's Paddock'. The finest of local, seasonal produce will be sourced to create a delicious slow prepared five-course dinner matched with regional wines specially selected by the winemakers.
On Sunday there will be tastings at each of the participating wineries as well as Glenrowan grazing tasting plates to match. Chefs at each winery will be plating up dishes representing the region's Australian heritage and the delicious local produce of the Warby Range. The winemakers will suggest ideal wine matches to accompany the Australian delights on the winery menus that will tempt the tastebuds and showcase the delicious seasonal produce of the region.
Enjoy a delicious gourmet breakfast on Sunday, join one of the guided walks to discover and explore the Ovens Warby National Park or choose one of the region's cycle trails to ride the range or pedal through Glenrowan and surrounds with its plethora of vineyards and views. Saturday dinner ticket packages include food, wine , bus service and music plus Sunday's breakfast. Glenrowan grazing tasting plates cost between $8 to $20.
