Mountain Jewel is set on 12.7 acres of spectacular bushland with its own bushwalks into the adjoining National Park. This 5 star property is quiet, private with luxury spa suites, large swimming pool and wonderful views. Surrounding this bed and breakfast are meandering gardens, tranquil and quiet with vantage points to sit and absorb the views and mountain air and watch the variety of birds and animals that visit the feeding stations and opossums in the evenings. Many vegetables and fruits are grown on the property by the owners and used by resident chef Betty Reynolds in designing her sumptuous meals which are a gourmet experience. Meals can be arranged if requested before arrival. Beautifully furnished, with many antique items of interest, dating back to the 1900s. Also for your enjoyment are a range of books, videos, CDs and tapes. Mountain Jewel is a little over one hour drive from Sydney and a few minutes from the main road. The famous Norman Lindsay Gallery at Faulconbridge is within walking distance and all the main Mountains attractions are a short drive away. Truly a Special Escape! |
