Ever wanted to get up close and personal with a saltwater crocodile - Crocosaurus Cove offers you this chance with underwater viewing of these enormous saltwater crocodiles in clear water. The large crocs can be viewed either through large acrylic panels or from the viewing platforms above. Crocosaurus Cove has the world’s largest display of Australian reptiles, there’s also a ‘World of Crocodiles' exhibit and turtle sanctuary, and a 'touch and feel’ reptile activities centre. The two storey 200,000 litre fresh water aquarium displays North Australian fish species such as barramundi, saratoga and stingrays, plus fresh water crocodiles and turtles. View the daily crocodile and fish feeding shows, and bowse through the local Northern Territory Aboriginal culture and Aboriginal art displays. For the more adventurous – ‘The Cage of Death’ offers the ultimate adrenalin diving adventure (extra costs apply). |
