Built in 1924, Mooltan Guest House is a gracious Edwardian Guest House retaining many of its Edwardiam features. There are 11 bedrooms all opening on to wide verandahs, one ensuite room has an open fire and 3 have their own bathrooms with claw-foot baths and private balconies. The two Lounges and Dining Room have wood fires and the billiard table is a new addition.
Mooltan offers the experience of 'going home' to a large country house and not having to do the dishes. Our latest addition is a guest kitchen, especially useful on cold winter nights for guests who have had a large lunch.
History sets the style, Mooltan was built in 1924 and was originally known as Spring View before being renamed after a P&O ocean liner - 'Mooltan'.
In a bushland setting, the eye-catching hedge with the name sculptured across the front hides a leisure garden planned for quiet enjoyment with lawns, gazebo and tennis court overlooking the Hepburn Springs Spa Resort and the Mineral Springs Reserve just 2 minutes walk away.
