Set on three acres is the original gracious homestead built in 1853 by an American during the days of the gold rush and with the Manor House, constructed to compliment the original; these two colonial style homes nestle tranquilly together on a pretty rural property, close to the township centre. The old Homestead features two bedrooms with open fires, period bathrooms with claw foot baths, lounge and open fire, and a conservatory dining and breakfast area. Each room has been decorated for the 1850s country era. Featuring antique furniture and cosy fires. In all there are four double rooms and two convert to twin share. The refinement of the new Manor boasts eight individually decorated bedrooms, each with their own charm. Centrally located is an elegant lounge with two grand open fires to relax in front of, with a foyer and lovely outlook over a pond to the countryside. The new Manor consists of two family rooms, four double/twin and two single rooms all of which have an ensuite. Other features are: Massage by arrangement, BBQ, large grounds with gardens, free off-street parking, meeting area, Sunday market over the road, restaurants from three to five minutes walk, shopping centre ten minutes walk and a short drive to the spa bath house of Hepburn Springs, and a wide range of other interesting activities.
