Holgate Brewhouse is a family owned 100% independent craft-brewing company, cranking out classic beer styles in their micro brewing plant in Woodend. The Holgate operations have been centred at the iconic Keatings Hotel which was built as the major stop-over to the Bendigo gold-fields.

Beer
Their beers are all traditionally brewed with pure Macedon Ranges water and no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or process aids. Their Real Ales are served from Beer Engines fully imported from England - these babies pump up the ale from the cellar in the time honoured tradition.
Bar, Lounge and Restaurant
Offering modern Australian menu including house-made breads, cakes and platters of local produce. Many of the dishes, including fish and chips, and beef and ale pie, are cooked using the Holgate beer - and the menu includes beer matches with the dishes. Also features a superb local wine list, Byron Bay grown coffee and live music on Friday nights. Cosy open fires or courtyard dining can be enjoyed.
