Old Post Office Seymour proudly presents their Annual Summer Art Show that continues throughout the Summer Season. The group exhibition features Australian Art for Gifts, Collection or Investment. Paintings by Paul Margocsy, John Orlando Birt, Lyn Mellady, David Chen, Malcolm Beattie, Agnes Szetey, Grace Paleg, Kevin Boucher, Kate Ferguson, Fiona Anderson, Rodger Scott, Meg Heres, Laurel Foenenader, Thel Cardwell, Vida Pearson, Janette George-Shambrook, Ilma Duncan, Jenny Bohner, Karen Gingell, Astrid Brunning, Richard Chamerski, Rita Daniel, Jay Sinclair, Kerry Nobbs, Jaqui Pierce, Gregory R Smith and many more multi-award winning artists. Works in oil, pastel, watercolour and mixed media from minitures to a couple of metres are exhibited.Pottery by Mary-Lou Pittard, Judy & Ric Pierce, John Strommer, Cathie Oddie and others. Sculpture by Damien Santamaria, Andre Vanne & Sue Hicks. Art glass by Marina Villani, Eileen Gordon, Eveline Schumman, June Emmins & Bonigilla Glass.Also on exhibition and for sale woodwork, silk, cards, limited edition prints and jewellery.Room after room of affordable art, in most styles and mediums, is displayed in the C1872 fully restored heritage building. An elegant relaxed atmosphere has been created with plush red carpet, chandeliers, parquetry flooring and antique furniture. Many of the original features of the heritage building have been retained and an extensive rose and iris garden planted. Centrally located in the award winning Fine Art Gallery is a fully licensed Restaurant that serves everything from a Devonshire to an A La Carte extensive menu with a complimenting local wine list.The Gallery & Restaurant were established in 1992 and the owners pride themselves on being "A World Class City Style Fine Art Gallery". |
