Maryborough Brick Event

The Maryborough Brick Event is set to showcase amazing dioramas, custom LEGO® creations of many talented local brick builders who will be exhibiting creations built entirely from LEGO®.

The Maryborough Brick Event is a LEGO® fan event for all ages and will be the biggest to be held in Maryborough showcasing over 30 different exhibits all made from LEGO® bricks. Themes on display will encompass Space and Star Wars, City (with working trains), Wild West, operating Technic vehicles and much much more.

The build and play tables along with the creation walls and the build a train play area will be extremely popular with children and the adults of all ages. Retail outlets will be offering fans all the latest in LEGO® products, games, merchandise and jewellery creations.

For the first time ever exclusive VIP tours will operate on both event days guided by a Master Builder, participants will be able to get up close to all the displays, chat with the creators, receive a special event set to take home plus other exclusive items bookings are recommended as tours and places will be limited.
Morning Melodies - Frankly Sinatra

Following the outstanding success of The Great Composers…Australian music theatre star Philip Gould and award winning singer/actress Michelle Fitzmaurice team up again to sing and Dance their way through 22 hits of the man they called the “Chairman of The Board”..Frank Sinatra.

The fascinating life story of Frank Sinatra will be told thru skilfully written narration and all of this in front of the backdrop of wonderful stills of many of Franks life on the big screen.

The show will also contain many hits from the women in Frank's life . Nancy Sinatra, Liza Minelli, Judy Garland will be some of the wonderfully talented women highlighted in the production.

Classic Sinatra hits will be performed, “My Way’, Three Coins in a Fountain”, Fly Me to the Moon”, High Hopes, to name but a few.
A Russian Triple Bill

Following their sell-out performances of A Festival of Russian Ballet, the Imperial Russian Ballet Company return to Australia and New Zealand.

This diverse and stunning programme in three awe-inspiring acts is proudly presented by Russian Ballet.

This is the first time that the Imperial Russian Ballet Company have brought this presentation to Australia and New Zealand. This stunning and diverse programme consists of the electrifying Carmen in ACT 1, the romantic Les Sylphides in Act 2 and the fairy tale spectacular of Princess Aurora’s wedding from Sleeping Beauty in Act 3.

The Imperial Russian Ballet Company was formed in 1994 by the Bolshoi Theatre soloist, Gediminas Taranda.

The cast of 40 elite dancers and support staff will travel to Australia in September and October 2018.

Offshore Superboats Championships

Come along to the final round of the 2018 Offshore Superboat Championships. The pit area and public boat ramp is on Jetty Road, Urangan, Hervey Bay. The race viewing is from the Hervey Bay foreshore.

Saturday October 27:
Pole Position Shootout 12pm to 1pm.
Street Parade of Boats: from 3.30pm.

Sunday October 28:
Race 1, 11am - 30 minute race.
Race 2, 1pm - 30 minute race.

Beach House Hotel Hervey Bay 100

The Beach House Hotel Hervey Bay 100 is a long course triathlon consisting of a two kilometre swim, 80 kilometre bike and 18 kilometre run. It takes place along the beautiful foreshore of the protected waters of Hervey Bay and is run by the Hervey Bay Triathlon Club.

They have a great lineup of events across the weekend this year, including their Super Saturday events, which consist of their 'Have a crack tri and children's aquathlon and triathlon events. They host the Barge2Beach ocean swimming event on the Saturday of race weekend also.

Barge2Beach is a two kilometre Open Water swimming event with a difference!

Get dropped off of a Kingfisher Bay Resort vehicle barge two kilometres offshore from Scarness beach in the middle of the crystal clear waters of Hervey Bay. Swim back to shore with 200 other keen ocean swimming enthusiasts.

This swim is part of the Hervey Bay 100 triathlon weekend run by the Hervey Bay Triathlon Club.
Carols in the Village

The annual Carols in the Village is a charity fundraising event with a local beneficiary.

The Fraser Coast Choruses and "Mansong", along with other soloists, will perform on stage. There will be hot and cold food and dinks available as well as ice cream. Bring a chair or blanket.

This is a real family friendly event with Santa arriving near 8pm to hand out free lollies to the children. Jon Vea-Vea will perform on stage from 4.45pm to 5.45pm and the carols will start at 6pm.

Battery operated candles and Glowstix will also be on sale.

Morning Melodies - Karen Knowles

Gold and platinum award winner, Karen Knowles is one of Australia’s favourite singers. Star of the musical Big River and lead singer with The Seekers in the early 1990s, Karen started her career on Young Talent Time and became the highest selling Australian female recording artist for two consecutive years.

Karen’s best known hits include Why Won’t You Explain, You are the Reason, By Request, La Vie en Rose, Amazing Grace and Moonglow. She is well known for her Carols and Christmas repertoire and regular performances as part of the Lord Mayors Carols broadcast throughout Queensland on Channel 7. Karen will perform with her musical director accompanying her.

Worlds Greatest Pub Fest
