Take morning walks or bike rides along the picturesque track that runs through the park along the boardwalk to the port of Bairnsdale then onto the lind bridge, across the swing bridge over the back water (round trip of approximately 5.4 kilometres). Also nearby East Gippsland rail trail a designated cycling trail, the Buchan caves tour the breath taking caves and feed the local wildlife, Metung, Lakes Entrance, Paynesville and Eagle Point for all your fishing, boating, beach and swimming needs.
The park facilities include: private jetty on the Mitchell river, luxury ensuite cabins, on-site caravan and cabin accommodation, barbecue facilities (undercover), children's play area, powered sites with annexe pads, large camping area, first class amenities blocks, shade trees and well cared for lawns.
