Mt. Zero Log Cabins provide an affordable and comfortable holiday in quiet countryside close to the less known but spectacular walks of Mt. Stapylton, Hollow Mountain, Gulgurn Manja Shelter, Golton Gorge and Mt. Zero. Beehive Falls and walks to Koori drawings are pleasant strolls. Hollow Mountain, Mt. Stapylton and Briggs Bluff are for the adventurous. Really experienced walkers can tackle Mt. Difficult or Mt. Stapylton circuits.
They provide wood for your glass fronted wood heater and your BBQ. TV, shower, toilet, electric cooking facilities and most utensils are in each cabin. The cabins are 18 metres apart on seven hectares surrounded by farms with only one farm between them and the national park. They are an easy highway drive only 23 kilometres farther from Melbourne than Halls Gap, or an easy highway drive five hours from Adelaide 50 minutes closer than Halls Gap. Civilisations, two licensed restaurants, is only ten minutes away.
Mt. Zero Log Cabins are just a six minute drive to park walks, two kilometres from the Western Highway. For fishing, four lakes (when it rains) are 15 minutes away, it is just 50 minute drive to five wineries. Located just 40 minutes away is Mt. Arapiles is 40 minutes away and wildflowers bloom in the park from May to November.
Their moderate prices give value for money! They give seasonal discounts - just ring for details. The two bedroom cabins allow for various groupings with double beds and double bunks. Doonas and pillows are provided; just bring your own sheets, pillowcases, towels, food and personal toiletries.
