Seppelt Great Western

Seppelt Great Western
Great Western

'The original vineyard was established in 1865, and in the last century more than 3 kilometres of underground tunnels were dug by miners for Sparkling wine maturation. Two real jewels here are the complex and intriguing Show Sparkling Shiraz and the polished and integrated St Peter's Shiraz.

The Gap Vineyard

The Gap Vineyard
Halls Gap

Of great significance in local Aboriginal lore, the rugged Grampians have a timeless, spiritual feel that can make a profound impression on other Australians and overseas visitors as well.

Norton Estate Wines

Lower Norton

Situated on a loamy buckshot rise 15 minutes south west of Horsham, Norton Estate is halfway between the Grampians and Mount Arapiles on Victoria's most southern outcrop of Mallee vegetation, and produce some of Australia's finest boutique wines.

Mount Langi Ghiran

Buangor

Mount Langi Ghiran is, in many ways, the Shiraz of the region, if not of Australia: intense, textured, a little brooding, and so complex as to bring a smile to the face of the most hardened wine bore. Trevor Mast has worked wonders here over the last 20 years...

Kara Kara Winery

St Arnaud

Welcome to Kara Kara Estate, established in 1977 by Steve and Marlene Zsigmond, a family operated Estate, Restaurant and Cafe located in the Pyrenees wine Region of Victoria. The nine hectare vineyard is dry grown, which leads to limited production of the finest parcels of fruit and great wines.

Grampians Estate

Great Western

'The old Salinger Hockheim winery existed here for about 75 years, closing in 1945. A brick-topped underground tank out the front is the only remnant of those days. Now Grampians Estate occupies the site.

Montara Winery

Ararat

'Cruise up the entrance avenue, through Montara's imposing gates, and head up to the quaint, old-worldly cellar door. Sit on the verandah to take in the dappled, ever-changing landscape towards the Pyrenees and the Sleeping Princess ranges. This is one of the best views from any Victorian winery.

Barangaroo Boutique Wines

Lower Norton

Barangaroo Boutique Wines is located just outside the Grampians but within the Grampians touring region in Victoria, just 10 minutes from Horsham and an interesting day trip from Halls Gap. The winery is a busy place in March when the vintage comes in.
