|The Clark Rubber Australian Kelpie Muster celebrates Castertonâs claim as the birthplace of the Australian Working Kelpie dog breed. The original 'Kelpie' was born at Warrock Station, north of Casterton, in the 1870âs.
The festival is filled with fun activities, celebrating and demonstrating the Kelpiesâ amazing skills. Past years included attractions such as the Poets Breakfast, Kelpie Country Street Parade, RMA Working Dog Futurity, Kelpie Dash, Kelpie High Jump, Kelpie Hill climb, Kelpie Pinball and Stockman's Challenge.
The working dog auction attracts national interest and provides a unique chance to observe superior working dogs demonstrate their skills before sale. The auction is firmly placed on the calendar of working dog breeders and buyers, with breeders from all over Australia showcasing their bloodlines. Amazingly high prices are fetched for Kelpies at the auction, with figures in the thousands for a single dog.
The Working Dog school is conducted by a renowned trainer and bookings prior to the event are essential.

|Junior Chocolatier Classes - July School Holidays|

|Three day Photography Tour: Otway Ranges|

|Capture beautiful beaches on a three-day photography tour with professional photographer Alfonso Calero this winter.
The photography tour will take place on the Fleurieu Peninsula, a stretch of coastline which is home to some of Adelaide's best beaches. From Friday night to Sunday morning, under Alfonso's guidance, you will shoot astrophotography and seascapes. During the tour you will spend a few hours per day walking on uneven surfaces so a normal level of fitness is recommended.
The workshop includes a total of 15 hours of photography direction.

The competition is open to a wide variety of roses, which means that if it is a rose then there is a category for it. The Rose Show is also features other categories for other garden flowers.
The weekend also includes plant and cake stalls, lunch is available on the Saturday and there will be a flower arranging workshop at 1:00pm on Sunday - bring your own flowers and vases.
All proceeds for the day go to a worthy cause.
|Great Vic Bike Ride|

|With 10 days and more than 600 kilometres of riding, 2019 is shaping up to be the greatest Great Vic ever. You will pedal through the beautiful coastal and forest landscapes of South Australia all the way to the world famous Great Ocean Road.
You can choose from five day and 10 day ride options as you pedal from Robe to Torquay, stopping at eight classic coastal towns along the way. Join the ride from Friday 22 November to Sunday 1 December 2019.

|The festival was first held in 1947 and has developed into a huge range of activities to entertain the many holiday makers who flock to Port Fairy for their traditional summer holiday break.
The highlight of the year is undoubtedly the New Year's Eve Procession where many residents and local organizations put together a float, often with a humorous theme and hope to win the Champion Float prize.
Music is also a feature of New Year's Eve and live bands both before and after the procession keep the crowds entertained until midnight when a dazzling fireworks display lights up the night sky.

|The Orford Vintage Rally is to be held on the 18 and 19 of January 2020.
This year will feature a ute muster, tractor pull, vintage cars, trucks and motorbikes display, shearing competition, blade shearing display, light display on Saturday night and live band.

Gates open 9:00am until late Saturday and 9:00am until 6:00pm Sunday.
|Port Fairy Working Sheepdog Trials|

|The Port Fairy Working Sheepdog Trials will be held from 7:00am each day.
The Commonwealth Championship Sheepdog Trials run for a week with triallers travelling from most states of Australia to compete in one of the biggest trials held in Australia.
Novice, open and improver heats are held throughout the week with finals on the weekend. A Trans Tasman trial is held under lights for three nights of the trial. Included in the trial is the coveted Australian Dog of the Year title with the best dog in each state attending by invitation to compete.
Held in the historic Port Fairy tourist town on the Shipwreck Coast of Victoria. Morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea available at a very reasonable cost.
