Pako Festa is a unique annual event with a strong blending of cultures, community spirit and involvement. The understanding of each other s cultures is an essential element of our multicultural Geelong and Australia. Pako Festa is Victoria s premier multicultural event. Recipient of the 2004 premiers award for harmony in the community Victorian multicultural awards for excellence. The Pako Festa, now in its 25th year, has become an institution in Geelong, and is a proud part of the local community, who over the years has become the festivals greatest assets. The festival hopes to continue for many years to come, promoting cultural diversity, harmony and understanding. |
