Chamber Philharmonia Cologne in the Chapel

    Enjoy Vivaldi, Mozart, Paganini and Borne performed in the stunning Sisters Chapel by an eight-piece touring German ensemble on their Australian tour.
    Violin, flute and cello soloists will be accompanied by the other musicians in the ensemble.



    German-inspired picnic food will be served in the Convent Garden from 6.30 – 7.15pm by the local 'Goorangoola Ladies’, who are fundraising for St Columba’s Anglican Church at Goorangoola (north of Singleton). Drinks will also available; Bring your own alcohol and picnic rug if required. They will supply the atmosphere and chairs through the garden.

    The food is an optional and additional cost to the concert tickets.

Scone Horse Trials

    Since 1979 the Scone Horse Trials Inc. committee have hosted the Olympic Equestrian sport of Eventing at Broomfield near Scone. Two events are staged each year, in spring and autumn. In 2016, 2017 and 2018 the NSW State Eventing Championships will be conducted at the March Event. With a strong group of sponsors headed by the region's thoroughbred breeders, a stunning and challenging cross country course and recent innovations such as the spectator friendly Twilight Showjumping, the Scone Horse Trials have gone from strength to strength. The March event is now one of the most popular events on the National calender with over 500 local, NSW and inter-state competitors regularly attending.
