The Family Fun Days are traditionally held on the first Sunday of the month, 11:00am to 3:00pm with a barbecue and soft drinks available to purchase.

They ask if any members can arrive a little earlier to help set up for the day it is greatly appreciated.

Cobram Harness Racing's Sunday Trials

Cobram Harness Racing conducts Qualifying Trials on the third Sunday of each months. First trial is at 9:30am.

Enthusiasts can enjoy a barbeque breakfast/brunch on trials morning.

Goulburn Valley Kart Club Australasian Kart Titles

The Numurkah raceway has hosted the Australasian titles since 1991.

Kart drivers will descend on the Numurkah track from across Australia, and compete in up to 17 classes, from the youngest seven-year-old drivers in Cadets, to teenagers in Junior National and senior drivers, including those over 40, in TAG and Sportsman.

Practice for the titles will begin on Friday, with qualifying on Saturday morning. Two heats will be held for drivers on Saturday afternoon and another on Sunday morning before the afternoon’s 20 lap final.

The Numurkah track is 532 metres with eight technical corners. Drivers can reach speeds of up to 80 kilometres per hour.

Entry to the Australasian Titles is free for spectators who are sure to enjoy this action packed event. The Numurkah Raceway is located on the Numurkah-Katamatite Road (C361) and only a short three kilometre drive east of the Numurkah Hospital.

The canteen is open from 6:00am for breakfast on Saturday until the last chequered flag on Sunday.

There will be local art, craft and photography exhibits as well as Mural Art by all of the schools in the surrounding district.

Swan Hill Show is located right in the centre of town so it is easy to find. Gates open each day at 9:00am.

Friday will finish at 9:00pm when the amazing firework display concludes. Saturday will finish at about 5:00pm when the horse events are completed.

Amazing bubble fairy called Becky Bubble will be performing a magical bubble show that will wow the audience of all ages with bubbles of all shapes and sizes.

The Wild Action Pack Zoo is back again with shows during the day.The Zoo will feature wildlife that can be found in the region and also some added extra creatures. The tractor pull will kick off at 12:00pm with an array of vintage style tractors.

In the main pavilion two state championship Table Tennis players will show you their skills and answer any questions you might have. They will take you through a skills session and you can watch them play a game against each other or someone from the crowd. Pop in and have a look at one of their sessions during the day.

The fireworks are back and proudly sponsored by Club Mulwala which will be held on the Saturday night to end the 2018 Yarrawonga Show.

Nathalia Agricultural Show 2018 - Carnival Extravaganza

The Nathalia Agricultural Show is a country show for the whole family. Some of the attractions on the day include sheep dog trials, Challenge Nathalia, 'Carnival Extravaganza' Show Quest, poultry show, market stalls and community group stalls, cattle and face painting.

There is the opportunity to get involved and participate in competitions on the day such as the cattle, sheep and motorbike sections, and the day before with many pavilion competitions including cooking, crafts, woodwork and produce.

Special sections this year include the 'Angel Babies' knitting competition, with all entries donated to the hospitals for premature babies. There will also be a decorated bra and decorated underwear to add some more fun to the needlework/craft section.

Nathalia Show has a full horse program including Pony Club ring.

This year Nathalia Show is celebrating its 124th show with a 'Carnival Extravaganza ' theme, and the organisers would love to see you there!

Bajo (Steven O'Donnell) will be doing signings along with a Q and A panel session. "Astrokerrie", a pro at all things cosplay, will judge the junior and adult cosplay competitions. Chris Kennett, will explain his role as an illustrator and be available to sign his latest books especially the Star Wars "Golden Books" series.



Plus the courtyard of the Cube will have the team from Sword Craft demonstrate live action medieval outfits and fight scenes.

The full day workshop will be conducted by Danny Cleary in a studio scenario equipped with equipment from entry to pro level. They will cover all steps interactively throughout the production process and produce a demonstration project within the event.

Participants will leave with an improved understanding of: marketing and the importance of video marketing, production methods from pre to post-production, understand the order, the importance and ways to save time/money for each step.

Receive practical training by observing as well as have an opportunity to operate a variety of equipment and software.

If you are planning your video marketing campaign, you may get some private or group feedback on your approach.

The music is carefully chosen to make sure there is something for everyone. The dance is held on the second Friday of every month.

The run is a unique experience and walkers are encouraged to participate.

Numurkah Show

The 2018 Numurkah Show will be on Wednesday October 24 and the theme this year is “hats” - farmers’ hats, tennis hats, Melbourne Cup hats, beach hats, gardening hats, school hats and any other hat you can think of.

There is a competition for the Best Senior Hat and for the Best Junior Hat with prize money of $50 for each. The Show will again have all of the attractions you associate with an Agricultural Show - beef cattle in record numbers, a new type of dairy cattle show, interbreed-horses, show jumping, sheep, a Championship Dog Show with 500 dogs, side shows, poultry, animal nursery, cookery, art, craft, beautiful flowers, sheep shearing, bush poetry, tots to teens judging and many, many more attractions.



There are free entertainments such as Professor Wallace’s Puppets, Crackles the Clown face painting and a miniature train.

There is something for everyone. The gates open at 9:00am for the general public and judging of Horses and Cattle starts then too.

The Seventh Annual Rotary Art Show

The History of the Rotary Club of Nathalia Art Show: In June 2012 the yearly art show at Tatura was attended and its popularity among people and artists was seen. Glenda Cornell was the in house artist and plenty of questions were asked; she also offered to help however she could with the very successful inaugural exhibtion.

In 2018, the art show returns to warmer October, but late in the month so as not to clash with Echuca's event. This year's dates are Friday 26, Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 October and it is hoped that many more people will attend and enjoy the beautiful art that will be on display.

Entries come from Victoria, New South Wales and even Queensland. There are paintings, photographs and sculptures entered and all work is for sale.

The past few years entries have been judged, professionally, by Dr Julie Gross McAdam and prizes awarded to first and second placegetters in the three categories; art is expected to continue getting judged.

Some nibbles and drinks are included in your admission.

Nathalia Fire Brigade Motorcycle Show

The Nathalia Fire Brigade Motorcycle Show is open to all types of motor bikes and several categories will be judged on the day.

The Bike Show will be held at the Nathalia Rec Reserve Sunday 28 October 2018.

Gates open to the Public at 8:00am, judging to start at 11:30am, then the trophies presentation 12:30pm.

​Cost of stall site will be $10 per site payable on the day before trading.

If you wish to travel to Nathalia on the Saturday, chill out with a couple of coldies and a barbecue. Camping spots will be available at the Reserve or the caravan park or motel.

Since its inception in 1990, the award-winning Wodonga Children's Fair has been a major success and is a feature of Wodonga's calendar of events.

It is held in October each year and is a free event for families - both local and from afar, attracting up to 16,000 people. Children's Fair is a free community event, hosting live entertainment on three stages and offering children's activites such as craft, reading, cooking, dance.

Market stalls offering a range of itmes, including children's clothes and toys. This is also a great opportunity for local schools and community groups to promote their services.

Movies at Numurkah Film Society Inc Trivia Night

Join in the fun at the annual Numurkah Film Society Inc trivia night. The money raised from this will help us purchase a new projector for the movies each month. The projector will be available to all hall users along with the retractable 250 inch screen that we are about to install.

Movies at Numurkah Film Society Inc is a not for profit community group that is run by its members for the benefit of its members and the rest of the area.

So far the society has acquired and adapted 63 movie seats from the Capitol Theatre in Melbourne which was financed with the profit from last year's event.

The society has also applied for and been granted money from the Moira Shire to install a new movie screen to replace the one that is now about 50 years old and damaged. They have been hard at work doing technical drawings, making brackets for installation and sourcing a supplier. The screen is on its way from America.

East Coast Sidecar Roundup Round Three

The East Coast Sidecar Roundup is a not-for-profit entity and is a speedway sidecar series that is run up and down the east coast of Australia. We have grown in popularity since commencing the series in 2015, that was formed to encourage and support the growth of sidecar racing for both juniors and seniors on the east coast.

They have teams from all across the country race in the series as well as a number of teams from across the ditch in New Zealand. Introducing live streaming this year will not only promote the sport across the world, but will expose their sponsors, supporters and race teams to the world audience.

Come and see the speedway sidecars chew up the speedway oval on their methanol burning 180HP rocketships. This huge motorsport event will see speedway sidecar teams from most states of Australia and even a couple of Kiwis coming across the ditch to take it to the Aussies.

Cobram Harness Racing's Melbourne Cup Carnival Family Day

Enjoy the child-friendly relaxed picnic atmosphere on the spacious green lawns adorned with picnic tables and umbrellas; a great day for non-traditional racegoers looking for a new experience.

For those preferring a picnic type atmosphere or to be close to the parade ring instead of sitting in the grandstand, large umbrellas will be available to provide comfort and shelter.

There will also be a large marquee set up with tables and chairs for the convenience of groups and business to celebrate the day or a special occasion - tables can be booked with the Secretary for a small fee. Scene Changes - A Comic Farce On Stage, and Off

Missed cues, dodgy sets, absent sound effects and misplaced props are ordinarily a Director's nightmare, and in this original play, there is no shortage of mishaps.

Scene Changes is set on the opening night performance of, “The Curse of the Ming Vase,” a period murder mystery performed by the fictional Crampston Regional Amateur Performers.



The audience is first treated to a backstage view of the cast and crew as they prepare to wow the audience. Of course, with such an eccentric cast of characters both on the stage and off, everything has to (and will) go wrong.

After intermission, the tables are turned, literally, and the audience will get to see the consequences on stage of all the mistakes that have been made.

Written and produced locally, it is great family entertainment.

Tatura 200 Charity Bike Ride and Walk

The Tatura 200 Charity Bike Ride and Walk, affectionately known as the Tat 200, was an initiative of the Tatura Milk Industries board aimed at extending its community support beyond its traditional stakeholders.

You are invited to ride or walk a variety of distances, the most illustrious of which is the 200 kilometre ride. The event caters to all levels of fitness, so you are encouraged to challenge yourself or enjoy a fun day out with family and friends. Try the new Gears and Graze Ride, and spend a leisurely afternoon amongst the vines at Longleat Wines.

Last year the event raised over $120,000 for charities, groups and organisations in the Goulburn Valley and surrounds.

Massive Murray Paddle - Incorporating the Murray Marathon

The Massive Murray Paddle is an amazing five-day paddling adventure that raises funds to assist local community driven programs.

This paddle is 404 kilometres over five days down the Mighty Murray River. It starts at Yarrawonga and finishes at Swan Hill, passing through beautiful towns like Tocumwal and Echuca.

This paddle has been running for 50 years and assists many people and community groups in need. You can paddle the full distance 404 kilometres or you can choose to paddle only one day or half days.

The event runs from Monday to Friday and for 2018 is on November 19 to 23.

You can paddle a canoe, sea kayak, surf-ski, out rigger, stand up paddle board, surf boat, prone paddle board or any home-made paddle craft you have made in your shed.

Join the Massive Murray Paddle for this amazing five day adventure. The 2016 and 2017 events raised over $283,600 for charity and community services.

Since 2001, Show Us Ya Wheels has been a family fun day, regularly attracting over 5,000 visitors, and has become a permanent and well-loved fixture on the Victorian car show circuit.

Show Us Ya Wheels regularly features 600 vehicles including cars, bikes, trucks, buses, hot rods, street cars and a swap meet and Show and Shine. Held at the show grounds in the friendly country town of Numurkah, Show Us Ya Wheels has something for everyone.

This year’s features will include The Chuck a Motor On Something. Show us Ya Wheels invites you to chuck a motor on something that would not normally have a motor on it such as a esky, couch or shopping trolley. Or build a custom machine, a hot rod, go kart or lawn mower racer. Cost of entry is only $10 and includes entry to the event. There are some great trophies up for grabs too.

Children are well catered for with a variety of activities including rides and a free jumping castle.

Numurkah Lawn Tennis Club Annual Tournament

Over the Australia Day long weekend, the Numurkah Lawn Tennis Club Inc hosts their Australia Day Tournament - an annual family oriented tournament that attracts players from all over Victoria as well as interstate.

Numurkah boasts ten wonderfully maintained lawn courts and two artificial grass courts. This small town is 25 minutes north of Shepparton and less than three hours from Melbourne. Numurkah is on the picturesque Broken Creek and the friendly town offers several catering and accommodation options.

The club offers members the opportunity to play socially or as part of organised competitions at weekends and during the week. Juniors are able to learn the great game of tennis, with their two Tennis Australia Qualified coaches and participate in appropriate levels of competition. The courts are also available for green fee players.

Lake Hume Cycle Challenge

The Lake Hume Cycle Challenge 2019 will be held on Saturday, February 23, with rides to cater for all fitness levels and abilities. The road rides take in spectacular undulating hills, attractive farmlands, river flats and the impressive Lake Hume. Shorter town and family friendly rides meander along paved and gravel bike paths incorporating natural bushland, friendly streets and picturesque creeks.

The start and finish will be at the Wodonga Racecourse and from 11:00am, as riders begin to return, the Chill Zone will allow them to rest and revive. It is here that riders and their families can be part of the 'cycle community' catching up with old mates and making new friends. Savour some satisfying stall food and enjoy the sweet chill out sounds of talented local musicians.

The aim of the event is to raise money for very worthy local causes. Also to promote regular exercise, encourage family participation and social connections, raise the profile of cycling in the local area and promote the Albury Wodonga region as a great base for safe and scenic recreation cycling.

Kyabram Engine and Machinery Rally

The Kyabram Vintage Engine and Machinery Rally is held annually in March.

The rally features vintage engines, machinery, tractors, steam vehicles and road vehicles. There will also be historic memorabilia, hobbies, woodcraft, hay making, blacksmithing and sheep shearing.

The rally will also incorporate the Australian White Truck Muster. The Australian White Truck Muster is held biannually on even years.

Nathalia Annual Easter Tennis Tournament

The Nathalia Annual Easter Tennis Tournament begins on Good Friday and is completed on Easter Monday.

The program includes mens and womens singles and doubles knockout championships along with graded round robin events. Players may play for one or two days or commit to all four days.

There are 14 lawn courts set beside the beautiful Broken Creek with excellent camping facilities next door at Riverbank Caravan Park, or nearby at the Nathalia Recreation Reserve. The club caters for for tennis players of all standards, with a focus on families and opportunities for everyone.

Revving The River Festival

Revving The River Festival is an annual bike and music event supporting the Zaidee's Rainbow Foundation.

Friday night will kick off with registrations in Murray Esplanade, Echuca followed by a two hour paddle steamer cruise. The evening will finish with live entertainment.

Saturday will include a Show 'n' Shine of the bikes in Murray Esplanade then an afternoon Poker Run. Live music will again be on the Echuca Wharf.

BMX Australia National Championships

The 2019 BMX Australia National Championships will be held at the Shepparton BMX Club in Northern Victoria.

Located just two hours outside of Melbourne, Shepparton has proved to be a hotspot of BMX competition for a number of years. Regular hosts of the BMXA National Series, the club also hosted the national titles back in 2014 and 2010.

With support from the Victorian State Government and Greater Shepparton City Council, it is expected that there will be 2000 entrants for Australia's premier BMX race week.

Mallee Almond Blossom Festival

The Mallee Almond Blossom Festival is an annual event which coincides with the largest explosion of almond blossom in the southern hemisphere.

The Festival is held on the third Sunday in August at the Robinvale Community Centre, on the picturesque banks of the Murray River.
