Rutherglen will once again be the place to be on the June long weekend for the annual Rutherglen Winery Walkabout. Rutherglen Winery Walkabout now attracts over 20,000 visitors and boasts three Tourism Awards and was also named "Best Festival in Australia". Armed with their Walkabout glass and passport, the young, old and in-between descend on the wineries for a spectacle not to be missed An array of entertainment and activities are happening throughout the weekend. You'll find each of the wineries is offering something different from reserve tastings of rare vintages, to live bands, produce markets, unique breakfasts or special dinners. Sunday sees the main street of Rutherglen come to life with market stalls and live music to entertain.
