Listed by the National Trust, the Carcory Homestead Ruins are an example of the rich history of the Diamantina. The building was built in the 1870s from local limestone. It was abandoned by Sir Sydney Kidman after battling extreme drought in the early 1900s.

Cooladdi is the site of a once thriving railway town. Originally known as 'Yarronvale', the name changed to Cooladdi in 1913. The town serviced the rail line from Charleville to Quilpie. This line boasted the fastest steam train in Queensland, affectionately known, as the 'Flying Flea'.

The Allan Tannock Weir is situated on the Warrego River five kilometres south of Cunnamulla. There is a picnic area with wood fuel barbecue, swimming and fishing are permitted one hundred metres from the Weir Wall. A boat ramp is situated five hundred metres up river from the Weir.
