Operating from the picturesque Mornington Harbour, famous for some of the best Snapper Fishing Spots. Our aim is to not only to give you a good time fishing but also to give you an enjoyable experience whilst aboard. Serious Fishing… Seriously Fun. Our vessel the 34 foot Kingfisher was purpose built for Port Phillip Bay, making her a very stable craft. Licensed by Marine Safety Victoria to carry 24 passengers but for your comfort, we like to book up to 18, with individual or group bookings available. Kingfisher was built with comfort in mind having: • Over 60 feet of open deck space which means no crowding when fishing • Any fish caught are placed in bags for you to take home • A shaded area with seating • Hand washing facilities on deck and inside the cabin • Toilets are also located inside the large cabin. On every trip the price includes: • Quality Penn rods and reels • All the bait you need • Mugs of tea or coffee • A complimentary BBQ. Anyone aboard Kingfisher will require an individual fishing licence (RFL) with the exception of anyone: • Under 18 years of age • 70 years of age or over • The holder of a Victorian Seniors Card • The holder of a Veterans’ Pensioner Card • The holder of a Veterans’ Affairs Repatriation Health Card, coded (TPI) • The holder of a Commonwealth Pensioner Concession Card coded either (DSP), (DSP Blind), (AGE), (AGE Blind) or (CAR) Licences are available to purchase on board the charges are as follows: • 48 hours $5.50 • 28 days $11.00 • One Year $22.00 • Three Years $60 (Interstate Fishing Licences are not valid for fishing in Victoria) All our crews are experienced and have been fishing Port Philip Bay for over 25 years. | Tariff Guide: | We have various trips available to suit everyone: SNAPPER SEASON – from October to end of May • 5 hour morning trips 7am – 12noon $60.00 per person • 5 hour afternoon trips 1pm – 5pm $60.00 per person ($10.00 Discount for Seniors and Children 8 - 16 years on the above trips) • Evening Snapper trips 6pm – 10pm (or times by arrangement) $65 per person OFF SEASON REEF FISHING, FLATHEAD AND GENERAL FISHING – from June to end of September • 5 hour morning trips 17am – 12noon $50.00 per person • 5 hour afternoon trips 1pm – 5pm $50.00 per person ($10.00 Discount for Seniors and Children 8 - 16 years on the above trips) Kingfisher is available for off peak mid-week trips for schools, clubs and student groups. Mornington Harbour has free parking all day. |
