Bayplay Lodge is located in Blairgowrie on the Mornington Peninsula, a 90-minute drive from Melbourne. Close to the Blairgowrie township with cafés, Post Office and shops, and 4km from the main historic town of Sorrento. A 500-metre walk through the tea trees will bring you to the bay beach for bathing or evening strolls and a 1.5km walk will take you to the Mornington Peninsula National Park with ocean views, spectacular beaches and rock pools to discover. (Melway Reference 167 H3) Bayplay Lodge is set on an acre amidst the tea trees in a peaceful setting just 500m from the beach. The Lodge offers a large fully fenced yard with barbecue facilities, a meeting room, fully-equipped kitchen and lounge area with gas fireplace, TV, DVD and VCR. The Lodge has 9 bedrooms, sleeping up to 33 people with doubles/twins and family rooms with 4 or 6 beds bunk style, and 2 rooms with Queen beds. Pool Use: There is a swimming pool on the property which is used for scuba dive training. The pool is shared amongst lodge guests, cottage guests and scuba dive training sessions, so if you are a group who has booked the whole lodge and would like to know the available pool times for your weekend, please call the day prior for details. Self-Catering is available in a fully equipped kitchen, or ask for a catered option. | |
