A winding drive up the shaded driveway reveals the stately period style lines of Ellesmere House. Couples only accommodation in a quiet and secluded location atop a ridge. With ground floor guest rooms overlooking a lovely garden of roses and lavender where the tranquil atmosphere continues indoors with period features and restful decor combining to create an ambiance of peace and serenity. Guests have the choice of two bedrooms both with QS beds, quality bed linen, towels, small dining suite and television and choice of en-suite bathroom and walk-in robe OR separate private bathroom with full size bath. A shared guest sitting room comprises comfortable furnishings, TV/VCR, stereo and internet facilities together with tea/coffee facilities and fridge with views onto the garden. A gourmet breakfast basket including home made jam, poached or fresh seasonal fruit, a selection of cereals, toast, tea and coffee is provided. Ellesmere House is close to historic Sorrento, the Queenscliff ferry and popular activities such as wineries, swimming with the dolphins, surfing, walking, fishing, golf and horse riding. | |
