From the moment you pass through Hazelglen’s leadlight entrance, you will know you are somewhere special. Beautifully furnished, Hazelglen provides charming accommodation for up to 6 people, just a short walk down a quiet street to the beach. The owners of Hazelglen live minutes away, allowing you to have expert local knowledge on local tourist attractions and information. You have the option of self-catering or having a delicious breakfast hamper provided for you to cook yourself, filled with healthy local produce for you to enjoy. Our hampers contain bacon and eggs, cereal, toast, fruit, juice and our coffee is top quality! The house consists of: • Split system heating/cooling, additional ceiling fans, gas heated for your comfort year round. • Spacious main bedroom with queen bed, TV, DVD, desk, sitting area and BIR. • Bedroom 2 with comfortable bunk beds and huge BIR. • Garden room ~ Queen bed, TV, DVD. • Lounge area with 2 couches, huge 106cm plasma TV, DVD/VCR player, over 100 DVDs to choose from, games, books and magazines. • Open plan living which is light and cheery by day and romantic with chandelier lighting by night. • Dining area (separate from kitchen). • Kitchen with new fridge, microwave and fully equipped for your self catering needs. • Bathroom with full bath and separate shower. • 2 way toilet with access to bathroom or laundry. • Laundry with washing machine, ironing board, iron, heated towel racks. • Luggage racks for all bedrooms. • Portacot, high chair, baby gate (for kitchen), babies’ and children’s toys and books. Hazelglen has received special commendation from RACV AAA star ratings for catering for children. Outdoors you can enjoy: • Landscaped gardens with roses, enormous 50 year old jade plants taller than the house, fruit trees. • Choice of outside entertaining areas including under cover alfresco dining setting and barbecue, picnic table in sunny spot with umbrella and veranda seating for morning breakfasts or cocktails – with views of Arthur's Seat. • Games room with pool table, table tennis table, totem tennis and quoits. • Activity gyms and baby swing. • Banana lounge for sun baking. • Off street parking. • Fully fenced, flat yard – perfect for children to play in. For the comfort and hygiene of our guests Hazelglen Beach House does not permit smoking indoors, or pets, however we can recommend somewhere special for your pampered pooch or feline to stay! | Booking Policy: | • Guest Terms and Conditions will be forwarded to you prior to receiving your deposit. • 15% deposit is required to confirm your booking. • A security deposit is required for all bookings, and can be processed as a credit card authorisation, if you wish. • 50% of remaining monies is to be paid half way between booking date and arrival. • Balance due 2 weeks prior to arrival. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are to be advised in writing giving details of reason for cancellation. If the property is re-booked by another party, the following refunds are possible - • More than one month before arrival date: 85% refund, less $100.00 admin fee. • 2-4 weeks before arrival date: 50% refund, less $100.00 admin fee. • Less than 2 weeks prior to arrival: No refund. |
