The farm is halfway along the Northam-Toodyay Road, on the banks of the Avon River. Rivermist Alpacas is primarily an alpaca stud, but other animals to see and learn about include donkeys and goats. You can choose to have a guided tour by the owners at 1100 of 1500, or you can stroll around and admire the alpaca, angora goats, donkeys and the aviaries of Australian birds within the native gardens.

You can also have a devonshire tea at weekends at the shop, which stocks affordable alpaca garments and locally made crafts.
