Using local stone and timbers of jarrah, marri, sheoak and blackbutt, Millbrook winery was created to highlight the natural beauty and wines of the emerging Perth Hills wine region.
The first vines were planted on Millbrook's terraced vineyard, which has an elevation of 220 metres above sea level in 1996 and the first vintage was harvested in 1999.
The winery offers lunch from Wednesday to Sunday and has a fantastic seasonal menu of local produce. The ingredients are sourced locally or produced on the farm in the case of marron, trout and fruit, as there is a 50 year old orchard still operational on the property.
The flagship range of wines produced under the Millbrook label are made from the very best fruit, predominantly estate grown. These wines are of superb quality and produced from small batches of individually styled fruit, which are only available in limited quantities.
Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier, Shiraz and Cabernet Merlot are available under the Millbrook label.
The Barking Owl range offers terrific value for money and reflects the relaxed, fresh and outdoor way of life enjoyed by all West Australians. They are bright, lively, fruit driven wines that are made to drink now. The fruit is sourced from the Perth Hills, Geographe and Great Southern regions.
We are located only a short drive from Perth and Mandurah.
