The Spirit of the Land Lockhart Festival is a unique, dynamic festival showcasing "Farm Sculptures" created from recycled metal, farm materials and elements of the land. With community support it has grown to include fine arts, indigenous art, boutique markets and stalls, Dunny and shed tours, open Gardens, entertainers, showcase of artistic and performing talent. One of the main celebrations is the positive relationships, interactions and the support of mateship, social groups, youth, mentally and physically disadvantaged celebrate the resourcefulness and creativity of a rural community determined to survive living and working on the land.
