When is the best time to explore the Murray River? When your home away from home is one of the finest on offer, the answer is simply Anytime.
Anytime is a striking 10 berth luxury houseboat (launched 2003) setting new standards in quality and sophistication amongst the river's fleet of leisure and pleasure craft.
Anytime has it all. Striking internal layout and presentation, the finest quality fixture and fittings, modern appliances and mechanical equipment designed to meet your every demand with ease.
This is truly a state of the art vessel, engineered to the finest standards and presented by owners who have many years experience in houseboat holidays on this mighty river. This has been coupled with a practical knowledge of what it takes to ensure your base for adventure is also a hub for rest and relaxation.
On the main deck there is a roomy lounge and entertainment centre, spacious dining area incorporating a large round table with seating for 10, a Lazy Susan and gourmet kitchen. Did you ever think you would see granite bench tops and stainless steel appliances in a houseboat kitchen? There are five queen size or twin bed bedrooms with quality 'Cotton House' linen, two indoor fully tiled bathrooms, a third outside toilet and even laundry facilities.
In the main saloon you will find an environment richly enhanced by floor to ceiling tinted windows. A special feature is the flow of natural light created by a raised ceiling featuring picturesque window skylights. You will set your own mood with the Sony television/CD/DVD surround sound system, which is also piped to front and rear decks. Maybe you will prefer the natural orchestra of this environmental mecca.
Nothing has been left to chance. There's an on deck stainless steel barbecue where you can cook up a storm. Considerable emphasis has been placed on cupboard space, stylish easy to use cooking appliances and, of course, refrigeration and cold storage to ensure everything you need is right on hand. Naturally, a holiday would not be a holiday without a dishwasher and microwave.
The upper deck has been designed for fun out of the sun. Here you will find a protected wet bar and refrigeration, practical lounge settings and informal dining areas. The upper deck is fully carpeted and has a dedicated radio/CD player, bar stools and casual circular dry bars. There is an abundance of room to simply laze the days, and star filled nights away. There is even an upper deck driving helm that will ensure your 'Captain' joins in the fun. The roomy rear-swimming platform has a boarding ladder and there are two ski boat hitches to secure your ski boat and other pleasure craft.
Anytime is powered by twin 90 horsepower four-stroke outboard motors with remote controlled throttles at both lower and upper helm stations designed to produce a smoother, faster response from engines.
Often it's the things you don't see that really make life easier. Things like the retractable gangway that slides from beneath Anytime's bow, closed circuit television to monitor ski boats and for added protection continuous fendering to the rear decking. Likewise, the diesel generator is out of sight below the rear deck within its own sound shielded compartment.
Then there is evaporative air conditioning ducted to each room and gas heating to combat the Murray's crisper moments.
What can possibly beat the mystical Murray River? There is only one answer, the ability to cruise the Murray on Anytime.
