Riverland Harvest Festival and Great Stomp

Annual Harvest Festival celebrating the grape harvest and features ‘The Great Stomp’. It is the major fundraiser for the Loxton North School and is the largest and longest running harvest celebration in the region. It promises to be a feast of fun, food and entertainment for the whole family. The Great Stomp is the highlight event as teams race to fill a bottle of juice from their barrel of grapes in the traditional (barefoot) manner. The action gets fast, furious and well …. sticky! A great family fun night with heaps of food and entertainment.
Riverland Dinghy Club Round 3 - Renmark Auto Service Circuit Race

Round 3 of the Magic 93.1 Riverland Dinghy Club Championship Series. Teams compete in dinghy racing around a tight circuit throughout the day, over seven different classes of motors and boats. Circuit racing requires a range of skills to compete as boats compete around the course.

True Grit

True Grit is the first Australian designed military inspired obstacle event, with various courses open to ages 4+ and any fitness level!

True Grit is a mental and physical challenge, designed based on the experience of Australian commandos and scaled to all fitness levels.

With the course laid over the unique terrain of each state, there are surprises around every corner and something to challenge everyone!

Our Half Course is perfect for beginners or those just getting back into a fitness journey, with half the distance but still a ton of fun obstacles. Looking for more of a challenge? Take on the Full Course to get that extra distance and push yourself, plus some additional obstacles to take it up a notch.
2019 UniSA Australian HPV Super Series

HPV racing, or Pedal Prix racing as it’s more widely known in SA, is a spectacular, fast paced activity with teams ranging from year 6 students through to adults. Teams will compete over a six hour period from 10am to 4pm riding single seat, recumbent, fully faired trikes. Speeds in excess of 60km per hour are normal and the racing will be close, with over 90 vehicles on the 1.5km track at the same time.

Loxton's shops will be open during the day with plenty of food, drinks and bargains to be found.
A trophy presentation ceremony will be held in East Terrace at the completion of the event.

Riverland Dinghy Club Round 4 - Woolshed Brewery Amazon Sprint

Round 4 of the Magic 93.1Riverland Dinghy Club Championship Series. Strategy plays a huge role in this race. This race consists of time trials over three long laps and one short lap with racing commencing at 10am from the iconic Woolshed Brewery.
Round 5 Riverland Dinghy Club - Enduro Race

Round 5 of the Magic 93.1Riverland Dinghy Club Championship Series. The course is approximately 90 km in length hence the name ‘enduro’. The race commences and finishes at the Renmark Club with racing from 10am.
Round 6 Riverland Dinghy Club - The Paul Hutchins Loan Centre Hunchee Run

Round 6 of the Magic 93.1 Riverland Dinghy Club Championship Series. The Hunchee run is run in the open river and creeks. Racers compete in a two lap time trailed course, competing for double point championship scores. The race commences and finishes at the Renmark Club with racing from 10am.

Loxton Christmas Lights Festival

Loxton Christmas Lights is a celebration of Christmas enjoyed by locals and visitors to the Riverland.
Street decorations (including a 10-metre high rope light Christmas Tree on the main roundabout), fireworks, a Christmas Tree Festival and 'Christmas Wonderland' are features which help create a magical world of colour and lights.
Festival goers enjoy more than 400 paintings and coloured light displays on 'Santa's Walk' which illuminates a cluster of streets in the town.

The festival commences with 'Light Up Day' on the last Saturday in November and continues until December 31 each year. The festival attracts thousands of visitors to the region to enjoy a wide range of activities to help capture the spirit of Christmas.

Round 1 Riverland Dinghy Club - The Renmark Club Dash 4 Cash

Round 1 of the Magic 93.1 Riverland Dinghy Club Championship Series. Racing consists of circuit racing, two boats gridded at the one time and time trails over two laps. Seven classes of boats and motors compete in teams consisting of a driver and navigator. Grid positions are interchanged between laps. This race is an idea free family viewing event from around noon and into the twilight racing under the stars. Racing commences from 1pm
Round 2 Riverland Dinghy Club - 40th Dinghy Derby

Round 2 of the Magic 93.1 Riverland Dinghy Club Championship Series. The Dinghy Derby is a distance race in open water ways and several creek networks.
