The Riverland Renaissance helps you discover the region's wine and food industry, the Murray River, and some spectacular tourism spots. The Riverland comes alive during the event, with wine, food, sports, multicultural fun and celebrations. The Riverland region of South Australia boasts a great lifestyle, with many activities focussed around the Murray River. Its golf courses are highly regarded, its natural produce demanded the world over, and its multicultural diversity adds flair and variety. The Riverland Renaissance brings these elements together and celebrates the region’s way of life, and invites people from other areas to share in this festivity. Events include day and twilight cruises or the Murray River, banquet lunches, bush opera, wine shows, twilight dinners, cooking demonstrations, concerts and more. The Riverland Wine and Food Festival - the main event- is on 17 October.
