This horseback holiday successfully combines adventure with comfort. Instead of sleeping out at night, riders stay at a comfortable (commercial) mountain chalet, with lots of atmosphere, in beautiful bushland, mountain and lake front settings.

At the end of each exhilarating day in the saddle there are hot showers to recuperate, country hospitality and excellent three course meals to enjoy, followed by cosy evening around the log fireplaces.

If you've always dreamt of riding the 'Man from Snowy River Country' and prefer not to rough it too much, then this horseback adventure is for you! We operate from 'Homestead Chalet', a lovely Chalet, featuring seven guestrooms, some with private en suite bathroom.

'Homestead Chalet' is about twenty minutes driving south of Jindabyne.
