Book Farm is a 56 acre property in the Maleny area’s part of the Blackall Range. There is a six acre pristine rainforest on Obi Obi Creek, and a number of areas under revegetation and regeneration. Bird life is abundant with occasional sightings of platypus, echidnas, reptiles and possums.
Jill Morris (children’s author and publisher) has accumulated a gallery of original illustrations from children’s books and a rare collection of publishing – process samples. Finished books are available for author signatures. Experienced illustrators are often in attendance. Guided walks through the rainforest often turn into mild adventures, inspiring writing and art.
