Montgomery’s YHA Backpackers is located on its own floor within the Hotel.

The bunk-style accommodation comprises one 12-bed dormitory, five six-bed dormitories and one eight-bed dormitory, also with shared bathroom facilities. Hotel reception provides travel and touring information for all guests, including a tour booking service. Other facilities include a luggage room, coin-operated washing machines and dryers, irons and ironing boards and a fully-equipped, self-catering kitchen. There is also a separate television and reading room and an Internet kiosk.

Montgomery’s Private Hotel is close to city cafes and restaurants, galleries, museums, theatre and entertainment venues and shopping. Hobart attractions, including the waterfront and Salamanca Market, are a short walk from the hotel.
