Arnhem Land Eco-Cultural Tours are affiliated with Bawinanga Aboriginal Corporation and offers exclusive and enlightening tours to the Maningrida region of remote Arnhem Land, approximately 580 kilometres from Darwin. You may practice Aboriginal knowledge in action, as traditional owners of this area guide you through genuine seasonal experiences including subsistnence hunting, fishing and gathering, and exclusive viewing of ancestral rock art. The tours are conducted in small groups of no more than six people, thereby providing a personal and interactive cultural experience. Air North provides daily flights to Maningrida; alternatively the region is accessible by road during the dry months. An access permit is required. |
