Join in and celebrate the start of the festive season. Carols by Candlelight is the pinnacle of the festive season in Darwin and is held in the Amphitheatre at the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens. Performing on the night will be the Darwin City Brass Band and many well-known carol celebrities including the Darwin Youth Choir, the Kormilda College Choir and many more. The carols start at 6.30pm (gates open from 5.30pm) and conclude at 8.30pm with a spectacular firework finale. The venue is non-smoking and parking is available at Mindil Beach. Carol books, candles, candle cups and matches on sale at the gate entrance, and refreshments will also be on sale. The Carols by Candlelight is a charity fundraiser event and entry is by gold coin donation. Come along for a night of community song and festivities. |
