Furlong Stud Equine Hall of Fame Lunch and Induction Ceremony - The Equine Hall of Fame commenced in Toowoomba in 1999 under the Queensland Festival of the Horse and is now incorporated in its own right. Each year three nominees are now inducted into the Hall of Fame and the nominees can be human, horse or a property associated with the Equine industry. Furlong Stud has sponsored the event since inception and has now acquired naming rights hence “Furlong Stud Equine Hall of Fame”. The day commences with guests arriving at noon to be greeted with drinks. Lunch is then served comprising of a two course plated meal. The induction then takes place with Peter Bredhauer, a racing personality of national renown, as MC. |
