St Luke's Anglican Parish is reaching out to the Community with an invitation to share in a very special event before Christmas. St Luke's, the beautiful stone church in the heart of Toowoomba, will be transformed into a forest of Christmas trees adorned with a display of various decorations to capture the spirit of Christmas and to inspire Love, Hope and Peace as they help their community to focus on the true meaning of Christmas. Imagine the wonder on the face of a child who steps inside the Church to discover over one hundred Christmas trees brightly adorned and each bursting with colour and different decorations. People of all ages will stop and look; only to discover how willing hands have crafted so many simple wonderful expressions of Christmas joy, lovingly prepared for the tree display. This year’s theme is "Hymns, Christmas, Carols, Songs and Poems" introducing a sub theme 'I AM", depicting the Life of Christ. |
