Glenview retreat offers accommodation in two country style cottages, creating a warm, relaxed atmosphere for couples as a romantic getaway or weekend escape. No cooking! A cooked country breakfast is brought to your cottage at a time of your choice. The fully self contained cottages are each furnished to encapsulate the country style appeal, but designed with modern luxuries of air conditioning, gas log fire, candlelit double spa,, cathedral ceilings, queen size bed, kitchenette, TV and DVD. Each cottage boasts its own private courtyard garden. As part of your indulgent package complimentary wine and chocolates are provided on arrival. Instead of a hamper of breakfast ingredients we provide you with a breakfast menu, and a cooked country breakfast is served in your cottage at a time of your choice. This spectacular country setting is home to many species of native birds including king parrots, rosellas aand galahs which are fed daily at your cottage door. In the surrounding area you can sight native wildlife such as wallabies, wombats and echidnas. Take a leisurely stroll to the Emerald Lake and Puffing Billy Lakeside station or explore the walking tracks of Wright State Forest. Ride the paddle boats, feed the ducks, ride on Puffing Billy or stroll the parklands; Glenview Retreat is the perfect base to experience it all. Enjoy the many restaurants, cafes and wineries in the surrounding area of the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. |
