Inneston Historic Walk

Stenhouse Bay

Inneston Historic Walk is a four kilometre return walking trail taking approximately two hours. This well marked trail takes the visitor back to the early 1900’s and the gypsum-mining era. Interpretive signs tell the story of the close-knit community of Inneston village.

Minlaton Walk starts at the Visitor Information Centre and heads north along the Main Street to the H J Cook Fauna Park, which contains emus, wallabies and kangaroos. From there you head past the basketball courts, meandering through bush and along the edge of the golf course.

Clements Gap Conservation Park

Clements Gap Conservation Park is a 15 minute drive north of Port Broughton. The park is a largely undisturbed 11 square kilometres of South Australian remnant bushland. The only remaining building at Clements Gap is the Uniting Church. The Church is still used today for monthly services and weddings.
