New Year's Day is Gala Day at Port Vincent. It is a family day packed with things to do and see. Starting at 9.30am there will be a wide variety of stalls to browse, to look at and learn about and activities to keep everyone occupied. Musical entertainment in the evening gets you moving while you wait for the drawing of the Gala Day Bonanza Raffle. At 9.30pm the sky lights up with a fireworks finale, bringing an end to a great day. Port Vincent is one of Yorke Peninsula's most popular resorts, with a permanent population of 470, which rises dramatically at peak periods, and during this period the bay is full of boats. |
