The Copper Coast Classic Cavalcade is considered as one of the best and biggest of its type in Australia. The enormous Cavalcade of Cars and Motorcycles is flagged off at the Wallaroo Ausbulk marshalling yards shortly after the Blessing of the Waters and a hearty Aussie Breakfast. The marvellous collection of classic cars and motorcycles will weave its way from Wallaroo, through Moonta and Port Hughes and then to Kadina, finishing at the Kadina Sports and Leisure Centre, Doswell Terrace, Kadina. The route can be lined at almost any stage to get a good vantage point to watch and wave the cars, motorcycles and their drivers past. On completion of the drive, at approximately 12 noon, there is the opportunity to wander among the vehicles and get a closer look while they are parked on the Kadina Oval. Lunch, refreshments, a bar and entertainment will be on site. People who own a classic car or motorcycle can contact the Kernewek Lowender office for information regarding registration for the event. The Cooper Coast Classic Cavalcade is one of the main events of the Kernewek Lowender - Copper Coast Cornish Festival. |
